Get To Know Our Current Board Members: Tim Crow
Tim Crow of Hemp Harvests is has been serving as the Secretary of the THA since 2019.
Tim has been involved with the Tasmanian hemp industry for over five years, and as one of the founders of Hemp Harvests is currently operating a full-scale commercial hemp food processing facility in Red Hills. Tim’s company has a commitment to sourcing only the highest quality, GMO-free seeds from the most responsible Australian farmers, and maintains high-quality standards by overseeing the entire supply chain, from the paddock to packet. This commitment is ingrained in their company’s philosophy and forms the basis of Tim’s business decision-making.
After successfully undertaking a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at the Queensland University of Technology, Tim was one of 115 visionary Australians who were recipients of a Churchill Fellowship Award in 2019. The Ron Badman Family Churchill Fellowship supports Tim in the work he is undertaking to further develop expertise and knowledge in cultivation, manufacturing, science, and policy of hemp. Tim intends to share his knowledge and findings to the Tasmanian hemp industry as part of an effort to enable us to compete effectively in the global market.
Tim will be standing for his position again at the AGM on 21st August 2020.
